Music plays an important role in our lives. Sometimes we are not aware of it but it kinds of molds us into the people that we are. The music now a day's is kind of carefree and this makes some young or old people carefree. Older music tends to use more melodic and techniques than modern-day music.

There are times that people bring up debates into discussions about the most and top songs of the year. Many historic singers with their hit singles and highest-paid albums from the ’60s to ’70s are still in demand until now. With so many rock n roll icons leaving us in recent years, it is played a lot anywhere and covered by many artists.

So, let’s find out who’s the Big Artist that people compared to our King of rock n roll Elvis Presley.

THE BEATLES: Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

We all know that this band is one of the most popular, successful rock and pop eras in the later part of the 20th Century. The band got their name combining the words Beatle and Beat sounds synonym right?

Ever since the Beatles competing with Elvis on the Billboard Charts in the 1960s which their songs are phenomenal with more achievement, success, and fame. They achieved their first number one single sold out 42.5 million more albums than Elvis, yet Elvis sold half 25.5 million more singles than Beatles. It is worth noting that singles of Elvis Presley were much more popular in the 1950s and early 1960s. Still, it’s just a number and many fans, artists, historians believe and insist that Elvis Presley is the bestselling period.

Aside of record breaking, The Beatles were strongly inspired by Elvis Presley. They got hooked on beat music, admired by his charms and musical talent. John Lennon said “Heartbreak Hotel” Change my whole life and completely shaken. Their chart success and popularity are unapparelled, despite of their fame; they manage to continue to improve their career.


PAT BOONE: 50’s Rock n Roll Battle

One of Elvis Presley rivaled the chart dominance and that was Pat Boone. His trademark perfectly combed hair, shining white buck shoes, and perfect smile. The essence of wholesome American values. His pop music fields and achievements rank closest to those of Presley. By the late '50s, he was one of the most popular singers in America, but soon to be displaced by Elvis, the man he is coming to honor this week as part of a lineup of Elvis intimates.

Both started the careers of their recording covering songs that inspired them. Both had success in 1956 and 1957 on the pop music chart, it was a breakout of the year. The same year Pat Boone and Elvis Presley both became motion picture stars. Boone made 54 chart appearances, his biggest smashes the number on records “Don’t Forbid Me and April Love “issued in 1957 while Elvis Teddy Bear and Jailhouse Rock. Despite of rivalry they became good friends and visited each other’s home. Boone said, “He doesn’t think they have the same audience at all”. They all had the fame and of course lot of hit records and they were friendly competitors.

FRANK SINATRA: O’l Blue Eyes

He is one of the greatest American Singer and performers in the industry entertainment. Elvis sold a lot more but the Chairman of the Board “Frank” recorded more songs. Elvis sold over a billion while Frank sold over 150 million.

Sinatra had in the past publicly denounced Rock n Roll as genre of desperate, vicious form of expression it has been a misfortune to hear. But many of his quotes have been twisted into menacing form and lighthearted opinion, He believes Elvis had a talent. Unfortunately, they were teamed up for television special back in 1960. The show resulted in a unique and special duet. Despite their 20 years age difference, Frank Sinatra and Elvis Presley were good friends. They often kept in touch over the years.
